READCLOK.TXT 5/98 Richard LeVitt richard_levitt@Compuserve.com ClokSS.SCR is a Windows screen saver that displays an old-fashioned table clock and calendar. Time and date can be set under Windows 3.1 and 95 (not NT) using the Alt-arrow keys. This application requires at least a 16-bit, 64K-color Super VGA (800 x 600) display. It also requires a copy of the Visual Basic runtime library VBRUN300.DLL located in your Windows\System Directory. While VBRUN300.DLL is present on most PCs today, it is available free for download from many on-line services. ClokSS is copyrighted freeware. Use, enjoy, distribute! To install Clokss: Move the files Clokss.scr, Aaplay.dll, Vbplay.vbx, Cloktime.flc, and Pendulum.flc into your Windows\System directory. (If you are using Windows Explorer and cannot see the file aaplay.dll, then click "Show all files" in the View - Options dialog.) To run Clokss: 1. Open the Windows Control Panel group and start the Desktop application. Select Clokss or Antique Clock in the Screen Saver Name drop down list. 2. Click the Screen Saver Test button to verify that Clokss is working correctly. Use the Alt-arrow keys to adjust time or date if needed.
