Whats CryptCentral ?
====================
  CryptCentral is a encryption utility which makes it possible to protect your
  files from unauthorized access.

  CryptCentral can password protect files but doesn't store any password in the
  encrypted files or leaves any in memory, this makes the program safe to use.

  This version of CryptCentral (v1.51) is freeware, this means that the program
  is free to use as long as no changes has been made to it and no money has
  been charged.

Planned features.
=================
  Here are some features which i plan/hope to implement in future releases :
   - DOS programs to encrypt, decrypt and list files.
   - Filelists as parameters (@MYFILES.LST).
   - Menu when using right mousebutton in filelist.
   - Logging.
   - Help system (CCENTRAL.HLP).
   - "Check file integrity..." feature for checking CRC32 codes without decrypting.
   - File information using multiple files.
   - More options.
   - More encryption methods.
   


Installing.
===========
  To install CryptCentral just unpack the archive file CCENT151.ZIP to a
  tempoary directory and run the program SETUP.EXE. The rest of the instal-
  lation process is self-explaining and easy.

  CryptCentral will create an ini-file (CCENTRAL.INI) at the same location as
  CCENTRAL.EXE, this file contains the setup and filelist for CryptCentral.

  If you encounter a problem when starting CryptCentral, try to unpack the
  file CTL3D.ZIP to your Windows system directory (C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM), and
  try again. 



Getting started.
================
  CryptCentral is quite simple to use so just try to "play" with the program
  for a while and you'll learn quickly. 

  IMPORTANT : Don't forget your password, otherwise files can't be decrypted.



How to use CryptCentral.
========================
  There are many ways to use CryptCentral : you can drop files onto the
  filelist from File Manager (or Windows Commander), files can be specified
  as parameters and files can be added from the build in multiple file browser.
  Files can be encrypted/decrypted seperately or together.

  Below are a few examples how to encrypt and decrypt a single file and
  multiple files.

  How to encrypt a file :
    1. : Start CryptCentral.
    2. : Press "Add.." button.
    3. : Find and select a file.
    4. : Press "Add" button.
    5. : Press "Close" button.
    6. : Find and select the added file in the filelist.
    7. : Press "Encrypt file(s)..." button.
    8. : Enter password twice (to verify).
    9. : Select encryption method.
   10. : Press "Encrypt all" button.
   11. : Wait while the file is being encrypted.
   12. : Now a list show which file has been encrypted and new file status.
   13. : Press "OK" button.
   14. : The file is now encrypted and protected.


  How to decrypt a file :
    1. : Start CryptCentral.
    2. : Press "Add.." button.
    3. : Find and select the encrypted file.
    4. : Press "Add" button.
    5. : Press "Close" button.
    6. : Find and select the added file in the filelist.
    7. : Press "Decrypt file(s)..." button.
    8. : Enter password.
    9. : Press "Decrypt" button.
   10. : Wait while file is being Decrypted.
   11. : Now a list show which file has been decrypted and new file status.
   12. : Press "OK" button.
   13. : The file is now decrypted and can be used as normal.


  How to encrypt multiple files :
    1. : Start CryptCentral.
    2. : Press "Add.." button.
    3. : Find and select some files.
    4. : Press "Add" button.
    5. : Press "Close" button.
    6. : Find and select the added files in the filelist.
    7. : Press "Encrypt file(s)..." button.
    8. : Enter password twice (to verify).
    9. : Select encryption method.
   10. : Press "Encrypt all" button.
   11. : Wait while the files is being encrypted.
   12. : Now a list show which files has been encrypted and new file status.
   13. : Press "OK" button.
   14. : The files are now encrypted and protected.


  How to decrypt multiple files :
    1. : Start CryptCentral.
    2. : Press "Add.." button.
    3. : Find and select the encrypted files.
    4. : Press "Add" button.
    5. : Press "Close" button.
    6. : Find and select the added files in the filelist.
    7. : Press "Decrypt file(s)..." button.
    8. : Select "Enter password for each file" as "Decrypt flow".
    9. : Press "Start" button.
   10. : Enter password.
   11. : Press "Decrypt all" button.
   12. : Wait while file is being Decrypted.
   13. : Continue step 10-12 until all files has been decrypted.
   14. : Now a list show which files has been decrypted and new file status.
   15. : Press "OK" button.
   16. : The files are now decrypted and can be used as normal.



Parameters.
===========
  CryptCentral can be used with some special parameters to enhance the usage.

  Parameters :
    /E  : Encrypt files.
    /D  : Decrypt files.
    /F+ : Allways save filelist.
    /F- : Never save filelist.
    /S- : Disable setup.
    /E- : Disable encrypt. 
    /D- : Disable decrypt.

  Examples :
    CCENTRAL C:\DOCS\*.DOC /E /F-    : Encrypts all .DOC files in C:\DOCS\
                                       directory and never save the filelist.  
              
    CCENTRAL C:\GIF\*.* /D /F+       : Decrypts all files in C:\GIF\ directory
                                       and allways save the file list.

    CCENTRAL /E- /S-                 : Disables encrypt and setup functions
                                       making it possible only to decrypt
                                       files.

    CCENTRAL /D /E- /S-              : Decrypts all files in file list and
                                       disables encrypt and setup functions.

    CCENTRAL C:\GIF\*.* D:\DATA\*.*  : Using all files in C:\GIF\ and D:\DATA\
                                       directories in filelist.
