The Iconolog 

Open index.html from the top directory with your browser
to view the gif collection.

The gif collection takes advantage of the longer filenames,
allowing more precise naming. If your system does not support
longer filenames, it will not be possible to use the html
distributed with archives to browse all the collection, gifs
with longer filenames will have become broken images. You will
need to use your graphics viewer.
