ToolBelt is a TSR memory resident program that gives you all kinds of functions at your fingertips, using it's Ctrl+Alt+Insert key combination. This is intended as an extention of the Windows 3.1 and 95 Ctrl+Alt+Del combination. When you run the program, nothing appears to happen, but don't worry! Simply press and hold down the keys, and up pops PC ToolBelt's box: Shell: Click the buttons to run File Manager, Explorer (windows 95 only), Internet Explorer and the DOS Prompt. Mouse: Restrice the area the mouse can move in by clicking the Restrict Mouse button: move the mouse to the upper left hand corner of your area and press the SPACE key. Now move it to the lower right, and press press SPACE once again. The mouse is now restricted to a box within those co-ordinates! Very useful to stop people from clicking on the Start button etc. or being able to move the mouse to close an application that must always be displayed. To restore the mouse settings, simply press the Ctrl+Alt+Insert combination again. Lock: Enter a password in the box, and then click Lock to lock the computer until the password is entered, Hide to hide the screen (so people can't see what's on it), or Lock and Hide to do a combination of the two! Minimise: Click this button to re-hide PC Toolbelt, and wait for you to press Ctrl+Alt+Insert again. Exit: Click to terminate PC Toolbelt, and remove it from memory. It is often good to put PC Toolbelt in your 'startup' folder so that it is run every time Windows starts. It runs in the background, so won't disturb you, and then it's ready for you to press Ctrl+Alt+Insert. Enjoy!
